Rammed earth, orchard and the slow Alentejo
Cerca da Vinha is a traditional Alentejo farmhouse built in rammed earth (taipa), with 225 m² set within roughly 1.4 hectares of orchard, old trees and a bed of aromatic herbs. One kilometre from the village of São Luís, it is a retreat for those seeking rest, nature and the particular light of this region, with the salt-water pool, the fireplace and the wood-fired oven at the heart of the house.
