Information & House Rules

House Rules

We kindly ask all guests to read and follow the house rules. Please leave the house as you found it. We will be very grateful.

01

Kitchen

Do not leave rubbish inside or outside the house. At night animals may come close and, smelling it, tend to tip the bins over.

Never clean the induction hob with the green scourer or any non-smooth pad. Use only the dedicated cleaner we leave in the kitchen cupboard.

Add water to the oven reservoir whenever you use the regenerate mode, or when the programme indicates it.

The hand dishwashing detergent is in the dispenser next to the tap; you can refill it by unscrewing the top.

Make sure the fridge and freezer doors are always properly closed, to avoid defrosting.

Do not step into the glass planter in front of the entrance door, and never leave it open, as there is a risk of bumping into it.

The dishwasher tablet must be placed outside its compartment, in the lower part of the machine.

If the machine signals (red light) that it needs salt or rinse aid, please refill them for a proper wash; both are in the cleaning-products cupboard.

02

Mezzanine

Do not leave small children alone on the living-room mezzanine, as the railings do not fully enclose it and there is a risk of falling.

Always leave the television switched off.

03

Bathrooms

Do not put paper, wipes, tampons or pads in the toilet. The house is on a septic tank; if it clogs, there will be no water and a plumber must be called.

04

Pets

Only dogs are allowed; no other animals are accepted.

Please make sure your dog is vaccinated and dewormed.

Dogs may not sit or sleep on the sofas or on any bed in the house.

05

Heating

Do not leave heaters on for many hours in a row.

Do not leave the fireplace lit when you leave the house.

06

Alarm

Always set the alarm when you leave for more than an hour.

Always disarm the alarm before entering the house.

07

Outdoors & Pool

Do not leave rubbish outside; at night animals may open the bins.

Check that the pool water flows into the balance tank. If it does not, the pump may have stopped: call us urgently so it is not damaged.

Never leave children alone outdoors or by the pool without adult supervision. The depth ranges from 1.40 m to 1.80 m, so please take great care.

08

Television

The house has MEO cable TV service, with its corresponding remote control.

09

At Check-out

Do not leave food or perishables in the fridge or freezer.

Do not leave rubbish inside or outside the house.

Do not leave any heating on.

Do not leave equipment switched on.

Always leave the key with Mrs Fátima or with us.

Check that you have left everything as it was. If anything has been damaged or broken, please let us know so we can assess it.
